Bee on Coneflower
This pretty pollinator and the uniquely colored coneflowers invite the viewer into a magical glimpse of a garden full of unusual color, varying shapes and uncommon patterns. The sky and the bee’s thorax are designed using 8mm iridescent tiles. Hand cut glass tile, millefiori glass, jewelry beads and ceramic pieces are also included in the design work. Iridescent tiles reflect light and change the hue depending on the light source and/or the light’s angle. The sky color will range from a royal blue to a cobalt blue-purple depending where you chose to display your art. The grout has been sealed to secure both the tile work and the grout however, this piece needs to be displayed indoors due to the nature of wood expansion when exposed to the elements.
The mosaic panel is mounted onto a sturdy acrylic painted cradled art wood panel that has a flat mount sawtooth hanger for quick display.
