The Ballerinas

$150.00

This fun piece is a nod to one of my favorite storybook characters growing up in the late 1960’s- Ramona the Pest. Ramona’s creator, Beverly Cleary, so brilliantly developed such a wonderful, spunky character that many times, as the youngest sibling in my family, I saw a little bit of myself in Ramona.

The Ballerinas are made using cut glass and ceramic tile as well as jewelry beads. Iridescent tiles were used to give the dancers a playful, shimmering pink, biscuit and violet background.

Dimensions & Weight
The repurposed pedestal stands 12 ½" from its circular base to the decorative top knot.

The rectangular tiled surface measures 6 ¾" x 8 ¾" x 2”.

This piece weighs 2.5 pounds and is display-ready on any indoor table or shelf.
